Best Wishes (7/40 Challenge)

Good evening Crafters!

Time for another card from me tonight...using an image I used last week..

I will probably be using this for my FIL's girlfriend as it is her birthday in a couple of weeks.

I enjoyed using the image so much so thought I'd make a girly card this time around.  You can find my previous card using this image here.

I am submitting this in the current Meljen's Designs Challenge - Seeing Spots.

Products Used:
Image - Meljens Designs "Fancy Gift Box"
Sentiment - Rubber "Best Wishes" Stamp
Papers - First Edition "Sweet Owl"
Colouring Medium - Promarkers
Gems - Stash
Consumables - Wink of Stella Clear

Friday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 89 (6/40 Challenge)

Good Morning Crafters!

Today I'm sharing a crafty treat showcasing a beautiful image from Beccy of Beccy's Place.

She is sponsoring our challenge this fortnight so this is a sneak peak.  My card officially goes up next Friday for the reminder post.

This image is a freebie which you can find here.

Products Used:
Image - Beccy's Place "Magnolia"
Sentiment - LOTV
Colouring Medium - Letraset ProMarkers
Papers - Papermania "Rose Garden"
Gems - Stash

NB.  I am now an 1/8  of the way through my challenge of 40 cards without buying any more stash and it's feeling good to dig out some old papers and scraps I have around.  I think I will get to 40 easier than I thought I would though!  At least when I'm done I'll have more room for new crafty stash ;)

Another Year Older (5/40 Challenge)

Good evening crafters!

I had a nice chilled evening tonight, dug out all my crafty stash and got making!  Everyone's birthday seems to come up at this time of year.  Most of them within a week and a half of each other!  Craziness!

So tonights card will be for my Uncle Pete.

I decided to make an easel card.   Originally I was going to fussy-cut out the image but decided all the detail around the edge was too pretty to remove so kept it as a plain square.

I brought the Stampin' Up sentiments last year and have been waiting to use it as they didn't really go with any of my dainty, girly stamps.  But as the colours and image were bold I thought it would work.

What I love most about this card is the Wink of Stella on the bow.  Naturally the picture doesn't do it justice, but I tried as best I could to capture some of the glitter.

I can see little bits that I didn't position right etc, but overall I actually quite like the card cause it's so bright and cheerul!

I am entering this in Meljen Designs Challenge:
Buttons, Bling and Twine

Products Used:
Sentiment: Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration "See Ya Later"
Papers - Smirk (Not sure what pad as they are scraps I had laying in my paper box)
Colouring Medium: Promarkers
Buttons, Gems and Twine - Stash
Glitter Pen - Wink of Stella "Clear"
